a weekend in review

folksgiving - a warm community gathering, soft acoustic sounds, conversations rise and fall between the songs.

the royal mile - laughter so hard my ribs can barely contain. stories and jokes, 90s music and lists for a wedding.

caribou - busy and quick - the chocolate is addictive and the encouragement is appreciated.

gray's lake - soaking the last rays of summer, heart pounding, feet steady to the beat of the music in my ears.

erin's gathering - delectable dishes, quirky childhood reminiscence, a small mismatched family on the hill.

hugh's jungle room - surprise song from david, the most romantic moment in karaoke history, and an appreciation of all things dive.

sunday morning - relentless tears make me question every motive, and yet the briefest conversation reminds me i'm not alone.

what would jesus buy - a convicting and fascinating expose on how far we have fallen, and what it will take to lose the whole world and gain our souls.
